I have rebuilt Symella with a new certificate, which should be valid for 10 years from now. The list of default GWebCaches has also been updated, and dynamic screen layout changes should work from now (rotating the screen won't mess up the UI).

I have tested the app on S60 5th edition (Nokia N97), and it seemed to work fine. However, please note that we do not have time to work on Symella any more. The only thing I can promise is little patches like this one in the future if I still see the demand (post your thoughts on the forum or send mails).

The certificate used by the previous version of Symella has been expired, so I have rebuilt version 1.40 with a new certificate, which means that you can keep installing it to your phone(s) for another year. What is more that I have also updated the webcache list coming with Symella, which will hopefully get you connected to the network in little time. Unfortunately we have had no chance to work on Symella lately (there is so much else to do), and this is not likely to change in the near future. So enjoy using Symella 1.40. It might not be a flawless application, but it works.

Symella 1.40 is released. I've added the long awaited "default network connection setting", hopefully it will solve the popping up access point dialog issue. The webcache support has also been improved. Symella queries the caches for addresses of other webcaches and you can edit the list of webcache addresses manually through the settings as well. Please don't forget to share your opinion about the new release in our forum.

Symella 1.32 for S60 platform 3rd and 2nd edition has been released! I've added a "find box" to the search results list (it can be used to filter the search results based on a given word) plus made some fixes to the UI.

Symella for S60 3rd edition is now available for download. We fixed several bugs and refined the UI as well. The application has been tested on Nokia N80 and N91 phones.
Sorry for the long delay but we have been very busy with some other projects. As you can see, the webpage has been moved to our department's portal. Perhaps the layout is not the best one but we had no other choice, and here at least all of our projects can be found at the same place. We are going to add a forum and, if the demand is high enough, other features as well.
