MobTorrent requirements

MobTorrent is able to connect to the BitTorrent network. It enables both download and upload, thus in case of popular content the application can use the processor more. MobTorrent requires MIDP 2.0, CLDC 1.1 and JSR 75 for file handling.
Phone manufacturers usually show these properties to the phones on their website. For example: Nokia devices

Installation instructions

MobTorrent can be installed to phones similary as any other Java applications, for example by using Nokia PC Suite or simply just copying the jar and jad file to the phone and install from the gallery/file browser applications.
After installing MobTorrent please set network access capability to "Ask first time only" in the application suite settings.

General information

After installing MobTorrent first please set download folder in the Settings menu. The application will download every content inside this folder.
Since MobTorrent was written in Java ME for mainstream phones with limited memory, it is possible that it will cause OutOfMemory error on some devices when downloading large files. In this case please email us and we will try to fix the problem.
Please note that Java ME has memory limitations thus use MobTorrent mainly to download reasonably small torrents.
