AMORG is the mobile research team of the Department of Automation and Applied Informatics, Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BUTE DAAI). Our main profile is mobile application research and development and giving courses on mobile programming. We are the leaders in Hungary's mobile software development education with four related courses and trainings for industry partners. Software projects such as the world's first mobile BitTorrent and Gnutella clients and the first mobile DHT client were developed by AMORG.

DrTorrent was developed by András Bori in cooperation with BME AUT - Amorg team.

After a long delay and a sudden burst of nostalgia, I updated SymTorrent to support Symbian^3 SDK and fixed the memory card selection bug so that all drives are visible. Get SymTorrent 1.51.
I can't promise that there will be more updates but anyhow, if you find a bug or want a new feature, please submit it on GitHub.

Amorg is paticipating in the community effort EBSF to provide better information for all the passengers on- and offboard via their mobile device. Our prototype, which runs on the Android platform, is aimed to optimize point-to-point travels, serve up-to-date schedule information with arrival estimations, and also has support for those visually impaired.

After the long waiting it is finally downloadable. Just search for "SymTorrent" using the Ovi Store client, or visit http://store.ovi.com/content/79370. If you like (or dislike) the app please write a review in Ovi (especially since user registrations is still not working on this site). I will check them all out.

Amorg has just moved to a new office

Moving to a new office is always an exciting time in the life of a team. We are really proud to announce that we moved to the new University building Q, occupying a whopping 4 rooms now. To meet us, you can visit the new at QB 225, 226 (seniors), 235 (more space for the juniors) or 236 (what an amazing lab for students, stuffed with hi-tech equipment by Nokia, thanks).
